The Iowa Assessments™

The Gates-MacGinitie Reading Tests (GMRT) are researched-based, valid & reliable assessments that test a student's literacy skills from pre-reading to adult reading levels. The tests measure student knowledge in phonological awareness, phonics, comprehension, word decoding, word knowledge, & vocabulary. Two different forms are available, and both can be used to make instructional decisions, identify skill gaps, and view growth over time.

Logramos TERCERA EDICIÓN (Third Edition) is a research-driven, evidence-based assessment that measures the achievement and monitors the growth of Spanish-speaking students in grades K–8 in reading, language, and mathematics and in grades 1–8 in science and social studies. Logramos TERCERA EDICIÓN large print test booklets are sold individually and require the Directions for Administration and an answer document (sold separately) for use. For hand scoring, a scoring key booklet and a copy of the Norms and Score conversions booklet are also needed.

 easyCBM is a benchmark and progress monitoring assessment for RTI that measures a student's achievement in Reading and Math. Skills in early literacy, reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, numbers and operations, geometry, measurement, algebra, ratios, and data analysis are assessed. easyCBM helps educators identify specific skill gaps and deficits in learning, and make informed instructional decisions. 

The Cognitive Abilities Test™ (CogAT^®)  Forms 7 and 8 measure students’ verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal reasoning abilities and assists educators in determining instructional strategies. The CogAT Screening Form consists of the analogies portion of each Battery from the full form including: Verbal/Picture Analogies, Number Analogies, and Figure Matrices.

The Iowa Algebra Aptitude Test (IAAT) assesses a student's math ability and preparedness for high school algebraic courses in 4 areas, pre-algebraic concepts, interpretation of mathematical information, representing relationships, and using symbols. The assessment scores assist teachers and counselors with initial placement of students in the secondary math curriculum.
